Text on back: This building was erected in 1749 as the residence of the Spanish Governor, who was the representative of the Spanish Government in all of the territory owned by Spain at the time and lying north of the Rio Grande. Recently restored to its original beauty at an expenditure of about $100,000.00 for the property and work and is maintained by the City of San Antonio as a historical Landmark. Vintage postcard is unused and in very good condition.
