Text on back: Captain George Flavel, pioneer Columbia River bar pilot and entrepreneur, and his wile Mary Boelling Flavel, had this elegant Queen-Anne style home built for their family in 1885. The home is in near original condition, and furnished with appropriate Victorian pieces. The Clatsop County Historical Society administers this historic home museum. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition.
