Century Old Postcard. Text on back: Hanging Rock in the Royal Gorge. The Royal Gorge is 120 miles from Denver and 45 miles from Colorado Springs, and may be reached with ease by automobile, over excellent roads, from either place. The bed of the famous canon is 5,494 feet above sea level. Its walls of rugged granite tower 2,700 feet above the Arkansas River, which flows at its base. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition with some edge/corner wear, note on back dates card 1914.
