Text on back: Once, the Lincoln Blvd. corridor in Oklahoma City was filled with motels. Over time, they were abandoned or often put to less savory uses. In an effort to stop crime and beautify the approach to the Capitol, the older motels along with various other buildings were slated for demolition. The Villa Inn Motel was among the last to go. The sign disappeared first; the building several years later. Postcard is new and in mint condition.
