Eagle Nest Lake, New Mexico Postcard - Text on back: Eagle Nest Lake at Eagle Nest, New Mexico. This lake is high in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. It is best known for its trout fishing. The lake is impounded by a dam built in 1912. It irrigates 70,000 acres of land and also provides electric power. Lodge and other accomodations re available at the small town of Eagle Nest nearby. Vintage postcard is unused and in good condition. Shows some edgewear.
