Visit the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Fort Union Trading Post and Knife River Indian National Historic Sites, 15 state parks, and dozens of wildlife refuges. North Dakota is also known as the "Peace Garden State," the "Flickertail State," and the "Rough Rider State."
