Davenport, Oklahoma - Dosie Creek Bridge

Text on back: This old bridge over Dosie Creek, dating back to 1917 and the days of the Ozark Trail, was located east of Davenport/west of Stroud on the earliest alignment of 66. Although a contributing feature to the Ozark Trails Section in Lincoln County which is on the National Register of Hisgtoric Places, it was destroyed when a new bridge was put in. Being on the Register does not guarantee preservation. Postcard is new and in mint condition.
